1: Summary of the previous article

The name of @Mirror_L2 was changed from MirrorL2 to Mirror Staking Protocol. It is an L2 extension solution. The design feature is to use a layer of asset pledge to ensure the security of the second layer network.

Three: Preparation

1: Install Unisat wallet

I won’t go into the basics of operation, but you must ensure safety when creating a wallet.

It is recommended to back up the mnemonic phrase in airplane mode.

Copy it by hand in a special notebook and do not use electronic devices to copy it.

Four: Receive test water

2: Receive the pie to test the water

After creating the wallet, set it to the test network.

Find the Taproot address starting with tb and copy it to get the pie and test the water.

You can click on picture 02 to get it, or you can enter it yourself.

3: Receive Arb Sepolia Network’s Ethereum Test E

Click on picture 03 to enter, or enter the faucet address

Five: Add Arb Sepolia network

If there is no Sepolia test network in the wallet, you must add it first

Steps:

(1) Connect the wallet, which wallet and address to use to connect to Mirror,

(2) Check the testnet: Check the Include Testnets wallet

(3) Search the Arbitrum Sepolia network:

Type Arbitrum Sepolia in the search box and press Enter

(4) Add to wallet:

Find Arbitrum Sepolia in the search results,

Point Add to Metamask.

Six: Casting test process

1: Big pie tests water cross-chain

Send 0.00001 pie in Unisat wallet to test the water

Go to the specified pie address,

The little fox will receive the pie of the EVM test chain in MetaMask

The testnet cross-chain amount is set to a fixed value of 0.00001 and cannot be modified

Seven: Operation steps

(1) Connect the wallet and confirm it is the Arbitrum Sepolia network(2) Select Deposit

There is no need to enter the type and amount, they have already been set.(3) Apply for a pie address: Click Apply for address.

Check all three reminders on the page that comes out.

First, the pie must be sent to the designated pie address within 2 hours;

Second, transfer from the wallet, not from the transaction;

Third, transfer according to the required quantity, that is, transfer 0.00001, do not transfer multiple times

Then click Confirm Apply to confirm the application.

(4) Contract interaction:

Use the Arb Sep test chain address connected to Mirror in the EVM wallet

Make a contract call to apply for an address.

Click Confirm. After success, you will get a pie address starting with tb.

Eight: Next step

I guess this is the first-tier address assigned to you.

You need to transfer pie directly to this address in Unisat.

After receiving this address, it will be on the second-layer chain

M pie with the same amount will be sent to you,

Then you will receive the corresponding m pie on the second-layer chain.

Note: Our operations here are actually performed on the Arb chain test network.

Nine: Continue to the next step

Turn the pie to test the water

Copy the pie address that starts with tb that you got.

Enter the Unisat wallet to transfer.

Enter the address and quantity. Note that the quantity is 0.00001 pie.

The handling fee can be set higher, choose Fast.

Then click Next, then click Confirm

Don't delay the transfer for too long.

Because the first-level transfer of Bitcoin theoretically takes 1 hour to confirm.

It is estimated that the validity period for confirmation of receipt of this address is 2 hours.

Ten: Information viewing

This is what I guessed because it suggested a time of 2 hours.

Then you have to wait for 6 block confirmations to arrive.

You can click the import button below to add it to your wallet for viewing.

After receiving it, there will be a confirmation message saying congratulations on receiving the m pie.

The unilateral operation is completed.

Next, step back into the pie chain, which is redemption

Eleven: Redemption of the Pie

When redeeming, you must operate in the MetaMask wallet.

It is conducted on the Arb Sepolia test chain.

Steps

(1) Click Redeem

(2) Enter the address:

Copy the pie testnet address starting with tb in Unisat

Enter the address box here;

(3) Authorization: Click Approve;

Then confirm the authorization in the EVM wallet

(4) Confirm: Click Confirm on the page that comes out.

Twelve: Mission completed, check points

It will also take about an hour after the payment is successful.

The cross-chain task is completed when the block confirmation ends.

Return to the Mirror user page and confirm whether the points have been received.

If it arrives, there will be a column in the points showing 10 points for cross-chain tasks.

The total score will also be increased by 10.
