I took Didi back from the station today and the price was more than 80 yuan. As soon as I got on the bus, the Didi driver told me that he refused to pick up another passenger because of me, and gave the passenger 10 yuan to get off the bus, but the passenger refused and became very angry and walked home. After the driver picked me up, he didn't dare to drive. He kept nagging me and was worried that the passenger would complain about him. But later we found the passenger and gave him a ride.
I later asked the driver why he did this, and he said that big orders like mine are so rare that during the day, sometimes we don’t see them even once a month.
Another time I went to my friend’s barbecue restaurant for a drink and went back to Didi in the evening. The price was about more than 110 yuan. After my friends put me in the car, the driver was so happy that he kept talking to me. For the first half of the journey, he basically kept saying, brother, I am so happy to meet you, I like you so much, you are so interesting, I I like you so much, hahahahaha, and in the second half of the interview, you asked me what industry I was in. After I roughly said that, he asked me for WeChat and said he would follow me. I was very dizzy at the time, but I knew in my heart that he was of no use to me and was still a burden, but in the end I politely gave him my WeChat account. After the driver added me, I passed it the next afternoon, but we didn't say a word after that.
Didi taxi drivers can very well reflect the current status of the industry. You can basically make a conclusion based on the consumption vitality of a place, because only when money circulates will it generate value. The volume of long-distance orders and nightlife activity can also show the economic status of the people and the vitality of the city to a certain extent. For short-distance orders, you don’t have a lot of money and may want to go for convenience. For long-distance orders, you may choose more economical travel methods, such as buses and subways, because the money saved is worth it.
In fact, I only realized it today. I compared it twice before and after, and was shocked. But if I think about it carefully, I may gain more.
Let’s put aside macroeconomics, because we all believe that our country’s economy has been stable and improving, and the economy continues to recover and is full of vitality.
Let’s talk personal. Most people in today's society are led by the secular world, but there is no right or wrong "study, work, get married, and have children." I have a different view on these four things except work. I am also a workaholic. From my personal perspective, It’s not shameful to talk about my experience.
In the eyes of the vast majority of people, not working means you are in a mess, you are decadent, and you seem to have no future, while those who keep working are serious people, and good children are motivated. It is precisely this kind of praised value that causes countless people to spend their whole lives in exchange for only a few taels of silver and a house that they can barely live in, and some even end up with nothing until they die.
Are they not working hard enough, or are they lacking in ability? neither. Takeaway guys, please work hard, Didi drivers, please work hard, workers on construction sites, please work hard, and girls from Shang K Bar and Club, please work hard? Is it because of poor ability? Then if you compete with them, are you sure you can win? Maybe they are the hardest working group of people, maybe they are very good at their job, but they are just a group of people at the bottom of society.
Many people may say that there are some professions that others only work for a period of time to get through the trough period. No. As long as they do some things, they will always be in the trough, and they will never be able to turn around and find the opportunities that should belong to them, until they adapt and accept it forever. If so, it would either have to change careers later or sacrifice something that is hard to buy with money, otherwise it would be almost impossible. Because they have no time to stop to learn, think, plan and seize other opportunities, their salary income growth rate is far less than the negative impact caused by currency depreciation and real estate appreciation, which is an endless cycle in itself. This is called opportunity cost in economics
In layman's terms, it means selling time, and it also comes with some leverage.
Of course, society already needs countless such people, so that rich people can live a prosperous life. I am not saying that such a profession is not good. There is no noble or low profession. Every profession is indispensable to society and should be respected. As long as the money is earned with both hands, it is glorious. But for those who want to cross class, they should be cautious:
Sometimes doing nothing and sleeping like mud all day is 100 times better than working.
Because: you have a lot of time to study, think, choose and recharge your batteries. Once you attack, you will be extraordinary.
The ancients do not deceive us: make money with your hands, make money with money
People who have been working hard to make money all their lives must not be rich. Making money is a period of time. The money earned in a certain period of time is money that most people will never earn in a lifetime.
Young people who have always been praised by capital, who can't be confused now?
Only one sober person in a million
