【Ethereum 313 Cancun upgrade, what information do you need to pay attention to? 】
Tonight, #ETH is expected to officially activate the Dencun hard fork upgrade at block height 269568. The most important update of this upgrade is EIP-4844 (about sharded Blob transactions), which will help reduce the risk of the Ethereum#Layer2network Transaction fees, cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

1. What do we need to do to upgrade Cancun?
Retail investors: Nothing needs to be done.
Non-staking node operators/validators: need to update the node to the client version.
Staking node operator/validator: You need to update the node to the client version and ensure that both the beacon node and the validator client are updated.
2. Which tracks will benefit from the upgrade in Cancun?
Layer2 sector: including Optimism ($OP ), Arbitrum ($ARB ), Starknet ($STRK), Metis ($METIS), Manta Pacific ($MANTA) and other issued currency projects, as well as unissued coins such as zkSync, Blast, Linea, Scroll and so on project.
Storage sector: After the upgrade, L2 needs to find other paths for long-term storage of historical transaction data.
